For HP English, we were asked to read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein over the summer, and eventually write an essay (with the topic of our choice) on it. I chose to write about Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and how the creature progressed through the hierarchy. This was my first essay for HP English, and I wanted to do well and challenge myself to write as much as I could.

2019 Science Fair

For the 2019 ACLC Science Fair, which counted towards my Biology grade, I made a robot that could "read" sign language in "real time". This was my last science fair at ACLC, and I wanted to challenge myself. I also have a relatively limited experience in Computer Science, and this project really encouraged me to learn more about Artificial Intelligence/Intelligent Machines. I completed this project with very little assistance, and had to learn everything both on my own and as I worked.

PiE Spring 2020 Electrical Challenge

For the Spring 2020 Season, PiE Robotics made the switch to an online competition mid-season, meaning new and additional challenges. One of the additional challenges was to design some sort of electrical device that could help your already-designed robot function better. My team had designed a robot whose primary goal was to collect and launch tennis balls, aiming them at the opponents' structures. I took on the challenge of designing and virtually creating and coding a sensor that could help tell us when an obstacle was in range of our shot.
